Weekly Shopping List

    This time of year I offer a lot of substitutions.  It's hard to predict when you can get fresh herbs; if you can get green garlic, etc.  I like to offer the recipes even though you may have to use the substitutions.  Cooking seasonally can be a bit of a challenge....

Saturday:  Asparagus and Avocado Salad

Sunday:  Tuna and Asparagus Risotto
Fresh Strawberries with Yogurt and Mint

Monday: Pasta with Sausages and Cherry Tomatoes

Tuesday:  Chicken Thighs in Wine and Vinegar
Skillet Roasted New Potatoes
Sautéed Snow Peas  (mangetout, pea pods)

Wednesday:   Italian Pork Chops
Pasta with Green Garlic
Creamed Spinach

Thursday:  Stir-Fried Chicken / Mushrooms, Tomatoes
