        If the avocado is ripe earlier in the week, just refrigerate until needed.

Popover Pie (Clafoutis) with Ham, Spinach and Avocado

Total time: 45 minutes
    Popover pies or savory clafoutis are a snap to make, and this one, with no advance cooking is particularly easy.... and delicious.

Popover Pie with Ham, Spinach and Avocado Ingredients:

 Instructions:Savory Clafoutis with Spinach

Cooking Schedule: 45 minutes
Assemble all ingredients and utensils
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives
, medium bowl, whisk, baking dish

Turn oven on 425F (215C)
Thaw spinach, squeeze dry, chop if needed
Cut ham
Pit avocado, slice
Whisk eggs

Add milk, flour, salt, nutmeg, whisk
Prepare baking dish
Pour in 1/3 batter
Arrange spinach, avocado, herbs, ham on top
Pour remaining batter over top
Sprinkle with cheese, bake
    Pause while it bakes
Remove pie, let rest a minute
Slice and serve
