Puff Pastry Pizza Margherita 
Fresh Strawberries

    I was looking for quick and easy.  I was hungry for pizza.  I can get both ready-to-use pizza dough and puff pastry in the refrigerator section of my supermarket.  The puff pastry was much lower in calories than the pizza crust - not necessarily per serving, but for the entire crust.  Since we always eat it all.... I opted for the lower.

Puff Pastry Pizza with Prosciutto

Total time: 30 minutes
   Use regular 'pizza' mozzarella for this, as the fresh balls have too much moisture in them and make a soggy crust.   The puff pastry makes a light and flaky crust and the pizza is ready in no time!

Fresh Strawberries

However you like....

Cooking Schedule: 30 minutes for menu
Assemble all ingredients and utensils
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives,
baking sheet

Turn oven on, 400F (200C)
Lay out puff pastry If frozen, thaw earlier
Slice tomatoes, arrange on pastry
Slice Prosciutto, arrange on tomatoes

Sprinkle with herbs
Shred or slice cheese if needed, arrange on top
Bake pizza
Clean the strawberries
      Take a break while it bakes
Slice and eat
Don't forget the strawberries...
