Weekly Shopping List 

         I debated over including the Salad of Spinach and Chicken Livers.... We love liver but eat it sparingly.  If you also enjoy it, this is a great salad.  If you don't.... Substitute more bacon, sautéed mushrooms, a bit of hard cheese or hard-boiled egg.
If you have spinach left add it to the Pasta on Wednesday.
We're adding a winter pantry staple: apple juice boxes, the small ones for children that don't need refrigeration (until opened).
And another winter freezer staple: frozen peas.  They can be tossed into anything at the last minute for color and rounding out the 5-a-day.

Sunday:  Sausage, Pepper and Fennel Risotto

Monday:  Savory Pork Hash

Tuesday:  Chicken with Sherried Mushrooms
Quinoa with Fried Onion and Celery
Broccoli with Bacon and Mustard

Wednesday:  Pasta with Turkey, Leeks and Peas

Thursday: Acorn Squash Stuffed with Beef and Rice
