Ham Hash with Poached Egg

     This is an easy dinner. Don't let the poached eggs intimidate you.....  

Ham Hash with Poached Eggs  

Total time: 30 minutes
    A classic, and so easy to do - using all fresh ingredients or leftovers from a Boiled Dinner. 

Ham Hash with Poached Eggs  Ingredients:   


Cooking schedule: 40 minutes
Assemble all food, utensils and serving dishes
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives,
large skillet with lid, medium skillet, saucepan,
steamer basket and lid
Cut potatoes, carrots, steam
Chop onion, sauté
Chop celery, add to onion
Roughly chop cabbage, add to onion
Mince garlic and add to onion

Cut beef or ham
Cover vegetables, reduce heat, cook
Add potatoes, carrots, meat to vegetables, fry
       Pause while it gets crispy
Turn, pat out, fry, pause, repeat
Heat water for eggs
Turn hash, pat out, fry, reduce heat
Add vinegar to water
Poach eggs
Serve the hash, topped with a poached egg
