     Simple grilled sausages are perfect anytime.  Paired with an easy, warm Cabbage Pasta Salad for an easy midweek dinner.

Grilled Sausages

Total time: 15 minutes
  There is such a variety of sausage available, you can grill them often and never repeat.  Duck, turkey, chicken, beef as well as pork, hot, mild, smoked or not.

Warm Cabbage Pasta Salad

Total time: 25 minutes
    The cabbage and onions are softened first, then browned and finished with mustard and vinegar for an easy, healthy pasta salad.

Warm Cabbage Pasta Salad Ingredients:

 Instructions:

Cooking schedule: 25 minutes
Assemble all food, utensils and serving dishes
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives,
large skillet, pot and colander for pasta, barbecue
grill or medium skillet

Put water on high heat for pasta
Light/turn on barbecue grill if using
Shred cabbage
Slice onion
Cook cabbage, onion
Uncover cabbage, onion, cook off stock

Add butter, oil, stir-fry
Reduce heat, cook
Start to cook sausages
Start to cook pasta
      Stand around waiting for stuff to cook
Stir the cabbage
Turn the sausages
Stir mustard, vinegar together, add to cabbage
Drain pasta, add to cabbage, remove from heat
Remove sausages
Serve
