      Nothing says spring quite like a salad of fresh spinach and sweet strawberries and a simple Pasta Primavera.

Spinach, Strawberry and Almond Salad

Total time: 15 minutes 
    This is an easy salad with the colors of the Italian flag and the flavors of spring.

Grilled Salmon with Warm Tomato Leek Salsa

Total time: 20 minutes 
    Salmon is the perfect fish for grilling and smoking: a light brushing of olive oil and a few herbs are all it needs.

Pasta with Snow Peas and Cherry Tomatoes

Total time: 25 minutes  
    A colorful Pasta Primavera - or spring pasta dish.  Don't start the sauce until the pasta is cooking, it only takes 10 minutes and you don't want it over-cooked.

Pasta with Snow Peas and Cherry Tomatoes Ingredients:

 Instructions:

Cooking Schedule: 30 minutes
Assemble all food, utensils and serving dishes
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives,
scissors, small bowl, whisk, salad bowl, pot and
colander for pasta, medium skillet, large skillet,
barbecue grill / grill basket / pan or baking sheet

Turn on/light barbecue grill or oven 400F (200C)
Put water on high heat for pasta
Clean, slice leek
Sauté chili powder
Add leeks, sauté
Cut all cherry tomatoes
Prepare spinach
Slice strawberries
Make vinaigrette
Trim, cut snow peas
Trim, slice green garlic
Shred cheese if needed
Snip all herbs

Add tomatoes to leeks, sauté briefly
Add herbs to tomato / leek, take off heat, set aside
Sauté green garlic
Prepare salmon
Add snow peas to green garlic, take off heat
Make salad, arrange on plates
Cook pasta
Start to cook salmon 10 min. earlier if using oven
Serve salad
After 7 minutes, turn salmon, move away from heat
Finish salad
Done? Remove salmon
Drain pasta
Put skillet with snow peas on medium-high heat
Add stock, herbs to skillet, heat
Add pasta to skillet
Arrange Salmon and Tomato Leek Salsa on plates
Add cherry tomatoes to pasta, stir
Put pasta in serving bowl, top with cheese, Serve
