Grilled Pork Chops with Sweet Mustard Marinade

Green Beans with Garlic and Rosemary

     We use orange marmalade through-out the summer in marinades and sauces for the barbecue.

Grilled Pork Chops with Sweet Mustard

Total time: 25 minutes
  Lots of hot mustard is tempered by the sweetness of the marmalade.

Basmati Rice Red Pepper Pilaf

Total time: 20 minutes
    Fragrant Basmati rice, finished with sautéed red pepper, onion and garlic, makes a pretty side dish.

Green Beans with Garlic and Rosemary

Total time: 25 minutes
      One doesn't often think of rosemary with beans but it's a lovely combination especially with the garlic chips.

Green Beans with Garlic and Rosemary Ingredients:


Cooking schedule: 30 minutes
Assemble all food, utensils and serving dishes
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives,
small bowl, whisk, dish for marinating, small
saucepan with lid, 2 small skillets, one lid, barbecue
grill and tools or large skillet

Turn on / light barbecue grill if using
Mix marmalade, mustards, garlic, oil
Spoon over chops, set aside
Sauté rice
Add stock, cover, cook
Trim beans, cut

Put beans, stock in skillet, cover, cook
Cook chops
Chop pepper, onion
Peel 3 cloves garlic, mince 1, slice 2 thinly
Turn chops
Sauté pepper, onion, garlic for rice
Remove beans, sauté garlic, rosemary
Fluff rice, add to pepper, onion, stir well
Mind the garlic chips
Remove chops
Add beans to garlic chips, stir reheat
Serve all
