 Lemon and Soy Glazed Turkey Cutlets
Pasta with Peanut Sauce
Broccoli with Lemon Pepper

     We still have a few fresh herbs in the garden although they are fading fast.

Lemon and Soy Glazed Turkey Cutlets

Total time: 20 minutes
    Turkey cutlets, are thin slices of turkey breast meat.  They cook quickly and are particularly well suited to savory marinades and sauces.  If you can't find them, substitute thinly sliced turkey tenderloin or chicken breasts. This is an intensely flavored, savory dish.

Pasta with Peanut Sauce

Total time: 25 minutes
   Peanut butter, sherry, fresh herbs... It's a simple sauce, rich, creamy and full of flavor.  It is meant to be served just barely warm or at room temperature.

Broccoli with Lemon Pepper

Total time: 20 minutes
   A bit of lemon perks up the flavor of broccoli and the pepper adds just a touch of heat to make things interesting.

Broccoli with Lemon Pepper Ingredients:

 Instructions:

Cooking schedule: 25 minutes
Assemble all food, utensils and serving dishes
Utensils: measuring cups, spoons, knives,
pot, colander for pasta, large skillet, lid, dish for
marinating, medium saucepan with steamer
basket, lid, small bowl, small saucepan
Put water on high heat for pasta
Make marinade for turkey, pour over
Slice onion
Mince garlic, ginger
Clean, cut broccoli
Sauté onion, garlic, ginger
Steam broccoli
Cook pasta
Snip herbs

Start to cook turkey
Make sauce for pasta, set aside
Turn turkey
Dissolve cornstarch in water
Add reserved marinade to turkey, cover, simmer
Remove broccoli
Heat butter, oil in broccoli pan
Drain pasta, put in bowl, add sauce, stir, set aside
Add lemon, thyme, pepper to butter, oil
Add broccoli to lemon/pepper
Add herbs to pasta
Remove turkey to plate
Thicken sauce, spoon over turkey
Remove broccoli
Serve all
