Thyme for                         Cooking

     We're nearing the end of winter cooking.  This will be the last of the timbales, the last of the winter squashes (pumpkin) and the last of the Brussels Sprouts.  The produce is starting to change in the markets.  I saw asparagus and artichokes, but both still too expensive to buy - maybe next week...or the next. Spinach is starting to be plentiful. Spring is coming!  Bon Appétit!

Friday:       Pumpkin Timbale with Prosciutto and Shallots
Smoked Salmon Pasta

We're having a white from the Graves region of Bordeaux this weekend, Château La Louviere.  Our red tonight is a Margaux, Château Ferriere.

Saturday:   Tuna and Feta Tarts
Veal with Parsley and Marsala
Potatoes Braised in Wine and Rosemary
Braised Jerusalem Artichokes
 

We'll finish the La Louviere with the tarts and have a Listrac, Château Mayne Lalande with the Veal.

Sunday:      Risotto with Feta, Ham, Peas and Carrots
Fresh Fruit

Monday:      Turkey with Sherry and Prosciutto
Mock Pumpkin Soufflé

Tuesday:     Chicken Breasts with Tomato Yogurt Sauce
Basmati Rice with Mushrooms
Sautéed Shredded Brussels Sprouts

Wednesday: Sautéed Sausages
Leftover Rice - Fried Rice and Brussels Sprouts

Thursday:  Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Potatoes, Apples and Carrots
