Thyme for                         Cooking

The holidays are over, the cookies are gone, the leftovers are gone and things are slowly getting back to normal.  We're starting the week with an easy Chinese dinner.  The Beer Braised Beef will be enough for 2 meals.  And I'll get my pizza fix with an easy Orzo Pizza. Bon Appétit!

Friday:       Hot and Sour Soup
Red Sauced Shrimp
Stir-Fried Rice

We're having a Gewurtztraminer from Alsace with the soup, and a St. Estephe, Le Petit Bocq with the Shrimp.

If you would like to learn more about French wines check out this site french wine a day.

Saturday:   Tuna Cakes
Beef Braised in Beer with Caramelized Onions
Fried Potatoes
Fried Carrots

We'll finish the Gewurtztraminer with the Tuna, and have a Nuits St. George, from Burgundy with the Beef.

Sunday:       Pasta Carbonara
Fresh Fruit

Monday:    Leftover Braised Beef
Buttered Potatoes
Sautéed Shredded Brussels Sprouts
