Thyme for                         Cooking

I did say I would probably do French Onion Soup.  This is the last of the winter soups.  They will only be occasionally, as first courses until next fall.  We are starting to get ready for spring.  Soon, I hope, the artichokes and asparagus will be showing up at the markets.   Bon Appétit!

Friday:       Fresh Pea Soup
Shrimp and Scallop Newburg
Basmati Rice
Sautéed Spinach

We're having a taste of Spain tonight, Enate 1,2,3 from the Somotano region of Spain, with their Merlot Merlot (no, that is not a typo).

If you would like to learn more about French wines check out this site french wine a day.

Saturday:   Avocado and Chevre Omelet
Lemon Chicken
Mousseline au Gratin
Cauliflower with Parmesan Sauce

We'll finish the 1,2,3 with the starter and have a St. Émilion, Château Gaffeliere with the chicken.

Sunday:    Soupe À L'Oignon
Apple Crisp

Monday:     Chicken in Mustard Sauce with
Cauliflower Pasta

Tuesday:  Soupe À L'Oignon
Avocado Salad
Fresh Fruit
