I think this will be the last of our slow-cooked braises for this winter. Do I sound like I'm getting anxious for spring? I'm always ready to switch from winter cooking to summer cooking...and back again! In the meantime, we have an easy menu this week... Bon Appétit!

Stir-Fried Brussels Sprouts and ShallotsWe're having a a German white wine this week, and it's dry, not sweet; a Chardonnay from the Kallstadt Saumagen region, Philippi. We'll have one oh his Pinot Noirs with the salmon, as well.

Saturday: Stuffed Mushrooms
Loin of Pork with Bay (Laurel) leaves
Potatoes and Carrots with BayWe'll finish the Chardonnay with the mushrooms, and have a Bordeaux from the Pessac Leognan region, Château Fieuzal.
Sunday: Pasta with Bacon and Leeks
Fresh FruitMonday: Shepherd's Pie
Tuesday: Spicy Ham and Beans
with Brown RiceWednesday: Chicken Parmesan
with Spaghetti
Italian Brussels SproutsThursday: Oriental Beef on Brown Rice
