Thyme for                         Cooking

    We have a truly Mediterranean menu this week: Spanokopitta from Greece, Pumpkin Gnocchi from Italy, Coq au Vin from France and a hint of Spain in the Lentil and Meatball Stew.  Plus we have 2 meals that give us leftovers for 2 more.  Efficient cooking for this busy time of year.  Bon Appétit!

Friday:        Spanokopitta
Scallops Provençal
Pumpkin Gnocchi

This weekend we're have a Chablis with our starters, Vaucoupin, Guy Mothes et Ses Fils, Négociant.  For the red, with the Scallops, we'll have the other Beaujolais Nouveau, in honor of the season.

Saturday:    Poached Eggs Bourguignon
Coq au Vin
Potato and Garlic Gratin

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

We'll finish that lovely Chablis with the eggs and have a Burgundy, of course, a Beaune, Montee Rouge.

Sunday:        Lentil and Meatball Stew
Popovers

Monday:      Coq au Vin Stuffed Pasta

Tuesday:      Baked Sesame Chicken Strips
Sweet Potatoes
Sautéed Sliced Brussels Sprouts

Wednesday: Lentil and Meatball Stew with Brown Rice

Thursday:    Pork Chops Diablo
Spicy Oven Fries
Sweet Sour Carrot Coins
