Steak in Madeira Sauce                                                  Time: 25 minutes

leftover steak
leftover sauce, about 1 cup if you don't have enough left add some beef stock or Madeira, thicken with
                                           cornstarch if needed.

4 oz mushrooms, wild or cultivated
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tbs olive oil

Chop onions, mince garlic and slice mushrooms.  Heat oil in medium nonstick skillet.  Add onions and sauté 5 minutes.  Add garlic and mushrooms and sauté until lightly browned, about 10 minutes.  Slice steak and cut into bite-size pieces.  Add steak and sauce to mushroom mixture and heat through.  Serve over or next to Mashed Potato Patties.
